| Exolight | In the galactic standard language this means outerlight. Not much is known about this race, even if they do exist. Most people only hear rumors. |
| Vivcide | In the galactic standard language this means living kill. Most people seem to know of this race even though anyone who goes in search of them never return home. |
| Earth Force | Earth Force was the government that controlled our mother planet Earth and the surrounding systems. No ones knows what has happened to them since we lost contact with them in 2602. |
| Great Expansion | After the loss of our home system The Great Expansion took control of the galaxy being the oldest government left of the humans, though much of the power they once held was lost after the civil war. |
| Outer Rim Exploration | This company was setup by The Great Expansion before the civil war to seek out new systems for colonization. But now after the civil war they broke away from The Great Expansion and have formed their own government on some of the systems they colonized. |
| Galaxy Mining | This was another company originally setup by The Great Expansion to get resources for the rapidly growing galaxy. During the civil war they broke away and became a very wealthy corporation. |
| Zgy Galaxy Station | Also known as United Galaxy Station was set up to maintain the peace after the civil war. The United Galaxy Station is funded by most governments though not all follow its charter for a peaceful galaxy. |
| United Republic | After the civil war a group of systems banded together to keep the values of freedom, thus they created a very peaceful and influential government which controls a vast amount of the galaxy and has controlling interest in other governments. |
| Free Democracy | A rather small government but widely respected, has a few systems where political and other refugees come to escape their persecutors. The Free Democracy supplies a big percent of the funds to the Zgy Galaxy Station. |
| Shadow Empire | They emerged out of the civil war as a government to be respected. They are known throughout the galaxy for their skills in espionage and other covert operations. |
| Protosil | Before the war and the loss of contact with Earth, a highly advanced research group was setup. During the civil war the protosil system was never touched and now the whereabouts of this research group are lost. |
| Galaxy Domination Inc. | Also known as G.D.I is a shady organization, not many people know about or even know what they do or where they came from. |
| The Company | No one knows why it's called just the company but no one seems to care. The Company is always busy doing their own dealings and seem never to get in peoples ways, so they are usually left alone. |
| Warner Family | During the war many families became rich off of trading or other businesses and now these families control systems. Warner family is the biggest of the four houses. |
| House of Graham | The Graham family is the second largest house and seems to be disliked by the White family. |
| House of White | The White family is the third largest house and seems to cause trouble with its closest rival the House of Graham. |
| House of Hale | The Hale family is the smallest of all the houses, almost bought out and forgotten by the other houses. The Hale family seems to be rebuilding their family and received much wealth recently from unknown sources. |
| Free Port, etc | Are Independent systems with their only alliance to the Zgy Galaxy Station. |
| Alphasol | These people recently rumored to exist are said to be highly advanced and related to humans somehow. |
